We are excited to be part of the SP Collective and their opening day! It is a soft opening so there are a few tweaks that need to be made to the Artistically Adjacent corner but you'll find our ice dyed aprons, scarves, flour sack dish towels, dinner napkins and tablecloths. We are so excited to be part of this amazing collective of artisans, curators, and just creative talents! It is a marketplace where you can find the perfect gift for your favorite people and of course lots of unique things for yourself. Soft opening Wednesday the 23rd!

Fall is our favorite season and we are looking forward to our next outdoor festival, 2026 Alpaca Farm Days Farm and Fiber Festival being held on September 26th 2026 at Mill Pond Alpacas. This fun event is fiber centric (and we are all about wares made out of natural fibers!) being held with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Renssealer. But it isn’t just about fiber…it is about pumpkins, animals, food, artisian vendors, even a little learning with education and agricultural demos! Best of all…Alpacas! We will be requesting a spot right next to them so we can gaze upon those furry friends while discussing the wonder of ice dye 🙂 (just kidding of course…or are we?). Something sweet is coming to 30 Saratoga Ave Waterford…

We’re so excited to introduce Sweet Pickins’ Collective, a new shopping experience coming to the historic Village of Waterford this fall!

Sweet Pickins’ Collective is a little bit old-fashioned mercantile, a little bit artisan marketplace, and a whole lot of treasure hunting. Inside you’ll find handmade goods, curated vintage treasures, repurposed finds, artisan creations, specialty products, seasonal favorites and plenty of things you didn’t know you needed until you spotted them.

Our hope is that Sweet Pickins’ feels like the kind of place where you want to slow down and wander. Where every booth, shelf and corner offers something new to discover and where the things you bring home have a story behind them.

We’re busy getting everything ready for an early fall opening, just in time for one of our favorite seasons. Think cozy teas and treats, fall décor, warm accessories, one-of-a-kind finds and all those little things that make autumn feel like autumn.

And this page is where you’ll get the first peek! Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing some of the talented makers, collectors, curators and small businesses joining the Collective, sharing behind-the-scenes progress, and giving you sneak peeks at what you’ll find inside.

Couldn’t make it yesterday to the Markets At Round Lake? Well you are in luck…we are open 10-4 today as well! Thank you so much to the wonderful shoppers who came by yesterday, we appreciate your support! Especially on such a sticky day! So come on by, grab a beverage, something yummy to eat, listen to the band and take in all the amazing makers! Maybe even try on one of our fun bucket hats !

Just few days left until the Markets At Round Lake! We are very excited to see our loyal shoppers & vendor friends and are ready to make new connections at this wonderful event! Where will we be? It’s that time of year and made these gifts for an awesome young lady heading to college next month (not sure if you can figure out where she is going 😆). The sweatshirt is a hearty organic cotton from Etsy seller https://www.etsy.com/shop/LetsBeHonestInc and the patch was made by https://www.etsy.com/shop/SunlittUS. I did the dyeing! The blanket was made using super soft Bernat Blanket Big Frosted (hadn’t tried that yarn before!) in a size of 54x44. Hopefully she will be cozy during those cool Binghamton winters!
