Staff pick: Honeysuckle by Bar Fridman-Tell

“The way the author sensitively tackles themes of consent, coercion, autonomy, and identity is so quietly, yet unmistakably, powerful…The folktale-like imagery, the subtle and masterful writing, and where this story ultimately goes really blew me away.” —Jade

We were so excited to be a part of the 2026 rochesterbookcrawl! This was our first year participating and you all did not disappoint. Thank you so much to everyone who visited us!

We had a great week seeing lots of new faces, reading such kind messages from visitors, befriending some new four-legged friends (okay, maybe bribing with treats is more like it 😉), and feeling like a part of the amazing greater Rochester book community!

Thank you to Jenna from The Unreliable Narrator for all of her hard work organizing such a wonderful event. And thank you to all the other booksellers in the area. We are honored to be among such great company ♥️

We will be drawing our $50 gift card winner tomorrow (Wednesday, August 26). Stay tuned!
