POKÉMON’S 30TH ANNIVERSARY SET ANNOUNCEMENT!

The worldwide release is Wednesday, September 16th, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate 30 YEARS of Pokémon with our community!

There is just one important thing to know about release day...

Pokémon gives stores Release Rules which stipulate that stores will not receive this product until the official release date. Our shipment is expected to arrive Wednesday afternoon, but UPS has the final say on when that truck rolls into town.

So please do not make the trip at 10 AM Wednesday expecting the new products to be on the shelves. We’d rather save you the trip and the disappointment!

ACTIVE POKÉMON PLAYERS GET FIRST DIBS!

As a THANK YOU to the Pokémon TCG community that continues to support our store and our events, we are inviting the Pokémon players of the current season to come out:

🗓️ Wednesday, September 16th
⏰ 6:00 PM

Assuming our shipment has arrived, these Pokémon TCG players will have the first opportunity to purchase the new 30th Anniversary products Wednesday evening.

Then...

THURSDAY = GENERAL RELEASE!

🗓️ Thursday, September 17th
⏰ When we open at 10am

Any remaining product will be available to everyone!

In-store purchase limit:
1 of each product line per customer

This limit will apply Thursday and beyond and is based on whatever product we actually have available.

A QUICK NOTE ABOUT SEALED ETBs

To help keep the in-store release focused on players and collectors, sealed ETBs purchased in-store will be cut at the time of purchase.

If you're buying an ETB online, your ETB will have its original factory seal intact.

We know most of our players are opening these products anyway, so the seal isn't going to stand between you and those packs!

Online pricing will be set close to current market pricing, while our in-store release will be focused on giving our local Pokémon community a fair opportunity to enjoy the 30th Anniversary celebration.

Pokémon Worlds Celebration complete! We were lucky enough to host this event and had winners from all 3 brackets.

Congratulations to those winners!
1st place in Juniors was Norah (not shown)
1st place in Seniors was Jonah
1st place in Masters was Julio

Each winner received a special stamped Pikachu promo card. Dual deck box and a set of special Pokémon Celebration card sleeves.

Yesterday we made the Emperor proud! The Raptors bested the Necrons and the day is safe once more!

Congratulations Michaael, and Michael. Our 1st and 2nd place finishers.

We are now hosting Warhammer 40K tournaments on the last Saturday of every month. Stay tuned for the next one.

ONE PIECE OP-17 PRERELEASE TOMORROW!

We are incredibly excited to be hosting our FIRST EVER One Piece Card Game event at Keepin' It Sleeved!

If you're planning on joining us tomorrow, make sure you register for the prerelease through Bandai TCG+ before arriving! Registration through Bandai TCG+ is required to participate in the event.

And because OP-17 is an especially sought-after set, we want to make sure the product we have goes to the people who are actually helping us build a One Piece community here at the store.

Because of that, OP-17 product will have player-only purchase limits.

PRERELEASE PARTICIPANTS

Anyone who participates in tomorrow's prerelease will have the opportunity to purchase ONE OP-17 booster box for $180 after the event.

This is one box per player, and the opportunity is only available on prerelease night.

WEEKLY ONE PIECE EVENTS

After the prerelease, players who participate in our weekly One Piece events will have the opportunity to purchase:

Up to 6 OP-17 booster packs per event

The 6-pack purchase opportunity is available only to players participating in that night's event.

This means that OP-17 will not be available for general walk-in purchases, bulk purchases, or purchases by people who are not participating in our One Piece events.

We know this is a little different from how we normally handle sealed product, but we want to give the people who actually show up, play, and help us grow this community the first opportunity to get their hands on this incredible set.

If you've been waiting for a reason to try One Piece, this is it!

Come play, meet some fellow pirates, crack some packs, and help us get this community sailing.
