🎄 Christmas Longarm Deadline: October 15th! 🎅

Want your quilts finished, bound, and wrapped under the tree this year? The holiday rush is officially here, and our Christmas longarm cutoff date is October 15th!

To guarantee your quilt is ready and finished before December 25th, it must be dropped off at Sew Many Things Sewing Center by the end of the day on Thursday, October 15th.

Any quilts brought in after this date will move into our normal queue and may not be completed until the New Year. Don't wait until the last minute—bring your quilt tops in this week so we can help you cross those holiday gifts off your list! 🧵✨

✨ Welcome to Tips & Tutorials Thursday! Let's eliminate bulky centers! ✨

Have you ever finished a gorgeous pinwheel block, only to realize the very center is a thick, bulky lump? 😫 It’s a classic quilting frustration that can mess up your points, make your block rock back and forth, and even break your sewing machine needles when you go to quilt it!

The good news? There is a simple trick to solve this forever: Spinning your seams! 🌀🧵

By gently opening just a couple of stitches in the center seam allowance intersection, you can press your seams in a flat, swirling circle. This creates a cute, miniature pinwheel matrix on the back of your block and leaves the front perfectly flat and crisp.
