Hey everyone! On Saturday Sept 11, from 10am-4pm, I'll be selling honey at Clinton's Olde Home Day. Stop by and stock up!

Also, depending on weather, I may bring a small "observation hive", so people can see what the bees do inside the hive.

And no, the bees won't be flying around. The entrance will be screened off and bees will remain inside the hive.

Here is a picture of what a 3lb package of bees looks like. I installed 4 packages yesterday and will be picking up 4 more this weekend.
The first 4 packages were Italian honeybees with 2 of the queens bred to pass a trait called Varroa Sensitive Hygiene (VSH) onto her offspring.
