On October 2nd in Clinton, Tennessee the 25th Annual Clinch River Fall Antique Festival gets underway in historic downtown Clinton! This two-day celebration fills the streets with antique dealers, vintage treasures, collectibles, old signs, furniture, home décor, artwork, and plenty of one-of-a-kind finds. Friday runs from noon to 7 p.m., with antique booths along Market Street, food vendors, country music, and dance lessons with Russell Walker and H***y Tonk Thursday. Saturday is the big day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., when artists and makers join the antique dealers and classic cars add even more to see around downtown. One of this year’s special highlights is a Dolly Parton look-alike contest, along with WestWend’s “Coat of Many Colors” tribute to Dolly on Market Street. You can also hear WDVX’s Blue Plate Special and take a horse-drawn carriage ride behind Clydesdales through historic Eagle Bend. With more than 10,000 people traditionally attending, downtown becomes a lively mix of shopping, food, music, history, and old-fashioned fall fun. Admission and parking are free, and the festival takes place rain or shine.
