💚The Clinton Public Farmer’s Market only has 3 regular season markets left this year, so make sure to come out, enjoy the community, and stock up on your favorites!

💚We have will tomatoes, peppers, squash, watermelon, cantaloupes, cucumbers and okra coming this week. Come stock up.

💚We will also have sourdough bread, jams, jellies and preserves. Plus fresh juices, salsas, honey and hot sauce.

💚Ingredients
1 pound fresh okra rinsed and dried
2 tablespoons avocado or canola oil
¾ teaspoon Kosher salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon pepper

💚Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Add the okra to the baking sheet, drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with the salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Toss until the oil and spices evenly coat the okra.
Bake for 12 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and enjoy.

The Best Melon Salad

🍉Slice the watermelon, cantaloupe, and cucumber into bite-size pieces and transfer them to a large bowl.

🍉In a small bowl, combine the honey, chopped mint and lime juice. Whisk to combine.

🍉Pour the honey lime mixture over the melon. Then, toss the salad to combine all the ingredients.

🍉Finally, serve immediately and enjoy.

👻 Tonight is Summerween so come get some fun themed goodies!

👻 We bought more misters to help cool down the park since it’s still going to be toasty!

👻 We know it’s Clinton Public Schools meet the teacher night so we hope everyone has a great time meeting their teachers and then swings by the market for dinner and a treat! We will have lots of food trucks tonight!
