It’s been a while since I posted an update! But, I have some news….

Iggy has a new brother, Fairbanks(Banks for short). He has been with us for just over 3 weeks. He is 8 months old, a Great Pyr mix and is an absolute sweetheart. Iggy loves him too! We are both smitten with him.

We originally were fostering him, but will be adopting him into our little family. He fits in perfect.

Here is a pic of our early walk Hammonasset Beach State Park this morning. We arrived just before they opened and the staff tending the gates loved them both! 💜🐾💜

Gio is home safe owner got a call last night around 1:30 that he was seen on 154 near Timberlane, she rushed there and found him behind someone’s shed. He is home safe! Owner says, Thank you for all your effort. She’s feeling so blessed. Thank you CTDGRV Melanie and the wonderful person who called in the sighting. Welcome home boy🐾❤️

This beautiful boy ran into the woods after a deer. He is very fast,skittish of people he does not know. He is wearing a red bandana and a chain collar. If seen please call the number on the flyer immediately do not call out or chase.

Friday, my sweet Oliver was laid to rest. He was 10 days shy of his 13th birthday. I will miss this sweet big boy immensely. Ollie brought joy, laughter and smiles to those that were lucky enough to meet him. He loved his job at the shop as the Chief Treat Officer.

When Iggy Valentine joined our family in 2016, Ollie formed an immediate bond with her and they were a joy to watch together. She is missing her brother, and I sensed her sadness as she gently sniffed his nose and face after he passed.

Ollie had a wonderful life, beating cancer and seizures, but his hind end weakness rapidly progressed the past month. We have the most amazing, caring and compassionate vet team who were kind enough to help Ollie transition peacefully at home. He left this world with his head resting in my lap, snoring ever so gently until he passed.
Oliver you were my heart dog.I will love you forever and then some. 💔🐾💔
