My riding partner retired from horses. Came to me and asked if I would sell her saddle. Now I clean and repair. I am not a sales person. Well this saddle sold and goes to its new home tomorow. I cleaned it before it goes. I found hair from her old horses. So many trail memories as I cleaned it.

This older Billy Cook came in the shop after a horse went bucking and the saddle came off. After taking this saddle apart I found exceptionally long nails (not from factory) just wondering if they poked through to the horses back is why it bucked. Its a good idea to run your hand over the bottom of your saddle now and then. Replaced conchos, made & replaced new D ring holder for back cinch, new back cinch billets, cleaned and inspected for cracked tree.
