This three hour class is an introduction to needle felting. You will create both a two dimensional piece and a 3D sea star. All materials needed to get started with needle felting are included.
The instructor, Glenna Gray, has been felting for seven years, starting with needle felting and learning wet felting in addition. Taking many classes along her learning curve, the peak experience came when she traveled to Scotland to study felt painting with Moy Mackay. The medium is a lovely cross between the sculptural qualities of clay, the beautiful colors of paint, AND it is soft! Come get started with this fun and habit forming style of fiber art!

Thanks to Aimee; I have a new shop assistant but she's only on half time. She's modeling my latest creations; a pure silk turtleneck eco printed with redbud and gingko leaves and a 100% wool herringbone scarf eco printed with onion skins and eucalyptus leaves.
