Leatherwood Creek Designs Lasered gifts, decor and more from wood, leather and metal by Michelle Warnimont. Growing up, one of us kids' favorite places to hang out was "the crick".

We never knew the actual name of "the crick", just that it was a wonderful place to hang out and explore. Recently, while checking out a plat map from 1880, I found out "the crick" is named Leatherwood Creek, named after the leatherwood bushes that were abundant on it's banks. Leatherwood Creek Designs seems a fitting name and a homage to the fun summer days spent at "the crick".
