Pat Gefre passed August 19,2021. He had been diagnosed July 1st with colon cancer. He battled it but it was too advanced. A celebration of life will be September 25th Saturday at Rhodes pond from 1:00 to 4:00. Finger food available. May bring a dish. Most of all bring your memories! Sharing for his wife Laurie Gefre.

Tonight I want to say Rip to a good friend. For about the last 15 years or so Pat and Laurie Gefre have owned and operated Nestucca Valley Sporting Goods. The store closed on June 30th. Pats first day of retirement was July 1st. He ended up in the hospital on the 1st and was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Pat lost his fight yesterday August 19th. He will be dearly missed in the community. Husband, father, friend. Pillar of the community. And a great softball coach. You are going to be dearly missed Pat. And I’ll bet you all didn’t know Pat use to be in the band Ambrosia. Can you figure out which one he is. RIP Pat.
