It was a difficult year for the lavender. This fall is going to be a cut it back year. There is still plenty of plant material without this late harvest.

Creation cornor tip:

Spa gloves are worth it. I don’t have a traditional desk job, often I don’t have access to salves until I’m exhausted at home. Me time is typically while I’m asleep. Spa gloves gives me the chance to nurture my hands at a time that I’m not using them. Just apply your salve and apply your gloves. I take them off at my first late night trip to the bathroom and my hands are ready for the next day! (Photo below is just an example and not necessary a recommendation glove)

Got the winter blues? Don’t let time inside get you down! Now is the time to start thinking about your spring planting.

Often I’m asked about my Lavender plants as much as my products. I plant potted Lavender immature plants in the mid Spring. No tricks, just good old fashion dig a hole and plant, with the correct width that is recommended for each variety, from the adjacent plant. My secret is pruning. I do prune twice a year with clean sharp hand shears.

Creation Cornor Tip:

Often we wait to apply salves, lotions and creams once we are dry. Unfortunately, that is too late for our skin. Create a regular routine of moisturizer. It doesn’t have to be intense, but an after shower application helps keep your skin pliable. Also, water intake is huge in keeping the itchies away. Hydration may make the daily difference in your skin health.
