48!!! 🎨❤️

We poured into 48 kids during Art Camp this year, and what a blessing it has been!

We had artists from Bleckley, Dodge, Houston, Pulaski and Laurens counties make the trip to attend camp. Some of these kids have been with us all three years, and that means more to me than I can put into words. I am so thankful they love Art Camp enough to come back year after year.

One of my favorite things to watch is the friendships that are made throughout the week. Whether they are from different towns, different schools, or homeschooled, these kids come together through creativity and leave with new friends.

I also want to say a special thank you to Brandi Barrs for helping me during camp this year. She has truly been a blessing. You could definitely tell she had plenty of experience under her belt when it came to wrangling kids and keeping things running smoothly. I couldn't have done it without her!

Thank you to every parent who trusted us with your children. It is an honor to spend part of their summer creating, encouraging, and making memories together.

Now it's time to get back to paint parties! Stay tuned because new parties will be posted soon, and I can't wait to create with all of you again. ❤️🎨

This year our artists completed 8 different projects, each one showcasing their creativity and unique style.

✨ Tic Tac Toe sets with hand-painted rocks
✨ Painted canvases
✨ String art creations
✨ Birthday boards
✨ Custom door hangers
✨ Cork board hangers
✨ Concrete handprints
✨ Personalized silhouettes

Our older artists created a "Be Kind" string art project, while our younger artists made hearts and stars.

I am always amazed at how each child can start with the same project and turn it into something completely their own. We painted, created, laughed, and made a lot of memories along the way.

We made it through... although I can't say the same for everything in the shop! Whew, what a week!

The kids are gone, the shop is finally quiet, and we're busy flipping everything over and getting ready for tomorrow's Art Show.

Thank you to all of our amazing artists for an incredible week. We can't wait to show off their hard work!

I've been a little quiet on Facebook the past couple of days, but that definitely doesn't mean things have been quiet at the shop! These kids came in on Monday ready to create, and they haven't slowed down since.
So far, we've completed 4 projects, and we still have 4 more to go!

It’s that time again, and I’m so excited to welcome 27 artists next week! We have a fun week of creativity planned, and I can’t wait to get started.

Here are a few reminders as you get your artist prepared:

🖍️ Waiver Reminder
A camp waiver has been emailed to you. Please print, complete, and send it with your child on the first day of camp. We will also have copies available if you need to complete one at drop-off.

🕘 Camp Times & Details

Camp 3 (Monday–Thursday)
⏰ Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
⏰ Drop-Off: 8:50 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
🚗 Pick-Up: Beginning at 11:50 a.m.

Camp 4 (Monday–Thursday)
⏰ Camp Hours: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
⏰ Drop-Off: 12:50 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
🚗 Pick-Up: Beginning at 3:50 p.m.

📍 Location: The Hen House, 216 East D***s Street

🍎 Snack: A snack will be provided each day.
💦 Water Bottle: Please send a water bottle or drink with your artist. Hydration helps keep those creative juices flowing!
👚 Clothing: Artists should wear cool, comfortable clothes that can get messy.

🎉 The Hen House "Drop-In" Art Show
The art show will be held at The Hen House on Friday, June 19, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to stop by and see all of the artists' work on display!
