Some photos from when I visited For The Love Of Yarn. Lots of color and a couple of great murals were some of the highlights along with lovely folks who have made this community a welcoming place.

Beautiful hand carved pieces from yarn bowls and crochet hooks to notion pots with covers from a local artisan.

Come take your crochet skills to the next level. Not sure what to work on after the beginning crochet class? Crochet a fun and functional crochet bag with Barb C.

Join her for this three week class on Fridays from 4:00-6:00 pm for this convenient evening class. The sessions are on October 23, 30 and November 6.

We will also be learning how to work from and read a crochet chart. The pattern is provided with the class.

Your roving social media person made it to Scotland yesterday evening with some flight delays.
It’s like Florida winter here and my jet lag kept me from exploring today. Tomorrow I will hopefully do some things out and about.
The Glasgow School of Yarn is this weekend, so hope to share photos from that as well.

Join Barbara P for Beginning Knitting on Mondays. This four week class will meet 11:00-2:00 on November 2, 9, 16 and 23.

You will make a lovely scarf that you can wear yourself or gift to someone. The scarf pattern uses basic stitches in a variety of ways to create several designs.

You will learn knit, purl, and how to read a pattern while knitting a lovely sampler scarf. Pattern is provided with class.
