Our friends at The Literacy Project just dropped off 20 boxes of books! They celebrated their 5th annual 5k event that included a book sale!

They provide literacy services to adults in our area. Tutoring so we can have literate adults able to sign a lease agreement, medical documents, and enjoy the wonderful world of books.

We will be sorting these books over the course of the next few days! A great mix of non-fiction, kids and some fiction!

Shop is open 9am-4pm today!

Cozy season is starting to descend upon us!

Freshly priced craft and hobby books are heading out! So many people have chatted with us about unplugging more and going “analog”.
To help curb the temptation to pick up your phone to look up something, grab a book about the craft you are looking to learn! Let your imagination and creativity fill in the blanks!

It may not QUITE be fall weather yet but we can dream!

We have some fall/spooky bookish extras heading out today and some more fun goodies coming in over the coming weeks!

For those of you new or who don’t know: Our social media STORIES get posted to almost every day. Hours, new books heading to the shelves, etc.
If you need help finding where to view stories we are always happy to help! This is a great way to stay in contact with your local business friends!

“Just one book” has ruined plenty of budgets inside Idaho bookstores, where browsing can become an expensive afternoon habit.

UPDATE: Dork Diaries have been spoken for!

We have SO MUCH coming and going in store.

The back room is consistently full and we are HERE FOR IT! 📚

Have books you want to pass along?- We take books Tuesday-Saturday and take books in on donation or for credit that gets you a discount! IF TRADING- please note we will process with you in store and can look at two small boxes per week for you ☀️

Thank you for passing along your books CDA! We are processing a good mix of genres over the coming days, but we have OODLES of Kid’s Chapter books going out and worked a great donation of picture books yesterday!

NEXT WEEK!

We celebrate our local teachers each year. A super shop night, ONE NIGHT ONLY.

Teachers shop like they have credit with us and pay $2 or less a book! We generally have said North Idaho Teachers are welcome to come shop but this is a whole area event. If you are in Spokane and are a teacher stop by!

We love a school ID or something to show that you are employed in the local school districts for this shop.

When: Thursday, August 13th
