Highlights from our annual staff baseball game! Last Friday, we closed early to have a little fun outside of the bookstore and watch a Spokane Indians game!

It was Princess Night, so, of course we had to get a picture with a princess and Anna Rose had to wear a crown! 👑

Our Lucy Gilmore event in conversation with Leia Stone is tomorrow!! Tickets are still available for purchase. Come early for the event if you can (2 - 2:30pm) and stay to browse books after the author event (we will stay open later for event attendee!).

Join The Well-Read Moose for a private afternoon with Lucy Gilmore and Leia Stone as we celebrate the release of A Thousand Little Goodbyes.This special ticketed event will be hosted at Studio 107, the wine and art studio located right next to our bookstore in Riverstone. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Attendees must be 21 or older.

❤️BOOKSTORE ROMANCE DAY IS TOMORROW!! Who's coming to celebrate romance with us?? 🙋‍♀️

When you purchase a romance book tomorrow, you will get to pick out a romance blind date book, plus spin the Prize Wheel!
• Special romance blind date books. We switched up how we do our clues specifically for this event! Which trope will speak to you?
• Glass heart shelf sitters and themed romance stickers (plus more!) will be on the PRIZE WHEEL. Every spin wins a prize!

• ALL romance and romatasy, both adult and YA, will be 10% off all day!

💖 Just added: we will have a drawing for a Romance Day grand prize that includes romance books + themed goodies.

• We will have five local romance authors signing their books throughout the day.

We will have displays and fun shelf talkers to recommend romance books throughout the store. Keep your eyes peeled for the shelf talkers!

You might cry, but you'll be happy about it! A Thousand Little Goodbyes is a friendship story that will pull on your heartstrings. If you are looking for a fun bookish event to do this weekend, grab your tickets and share this with your bookish friends!

Tickets are available on our website at www.wellreadmoose.com! Come early for the event if you can (2 - 2:30pm), grab a drink, some tasty food, claim a good seat and take a picture at our photo booth area! Event attendees can stay to browse books at our store after the author event (we will stay open later for event attendee!).

Welcome to Threshing Day, Cadets! You want a book? Earn one!
We are celebrating the release of Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros with our very own Gauntlet Run! We are partnering with Triple Play Family Fun Park to bring you a book release party you won't forget!
Join us for a night filled with fun, themed activities, and a run on the Ropes Course to earn an Empyrean bookmark and your copy of Threshing Day!

Tickets: $60
What's going on:
• Gauntlet Run on the Ropes Course - Bookmark prize for completion!
• Venin vs. Marked Ones Team Bowling Battles
• Photo Op Area and Themed Activities in the Party Room with Drawings for Prizes
• Themed Items Available for Purchase

Threshing Day will be released at 9 pm for pick-up at the event. We will start lining up at 8:45 pm for pick-up. You can participate in any open attraction that night as a part of your Triple Play pass. Food and Drinks will be available to purchase at the event.

Costumes encouraged! Come with friends or come ready to meet book-loving and dragon-loving people.

Happy New Book Tuesday!! We have SIGNED COPIES of The Secret We Hude by Karin Slaughter, Dreamland by Olivie Blake, Under the Falls by Richard Russo, and The Bonds of Hercules by Jasmine Mas.

Lots of fun books! We particularly liked The Pumpkin Spice Cafe Bookbook inspired by the Dream Harbor book series by Laurie Gilmore!

What a night to remember! We had an absolute blast with Travis Baldree at Vantage Point Brewing Company on Tuesday to celebrate the paperback release of Brigands and Breadknives.

We raised almost $400 at the event for the Innovia Foundation's Spokane Complex Wildfire Relief to help local families in the area affected by the fires!! (THANK YOU THANK YOU) 🎊

A highlight from the night was a chapter reading from Travis himself in his audio narrator voice. So cool to see voice acting in person! 🤩

There were even a few Matt Dinniman books signed at the event. 😁

Big shout out to Tim at Vantage for taking such wonderful pictures at the event!

Can't wait to see you at the next event. (Lucy Gilmore is coming to Studio 107 on 8/16. Emily Ruskovich is coming to Vantage Point Brewing on 8/23.)
