Labor Day weekend for 2026! Where has our summer gone? Time seems to fly by faster and faster and I don’t seem to be able to catch up with everything I want to get accomplished. One thing for sure that I do get done is preparing for Saturday Farmers Market. I enjoy being here and meeting the nicest people. If you’re able to come, please stop by and say hello. Here I am, set up and ready for the day. When I arrived this morning the sun was just starting to rise. Soon I will be setting up in the dark and wearing warmer clothes. For now, I will enjoy the warm weather and be thankful for the promise of those first rays of sunshine. I have a customer who ordered a serving spoon with a morel mushroom on the handle. I found a cast iron set and have applied the sculpted mushrooms. The contact number I was given is disconnected. So I’m hoping someone else will find they cannot live without them. Arrived at the Market grounds at 5:30 this morning to set up my booth. I was not the first vendor here as I started to unpack my wares. It feels so welcoming to see others passionate about what they make or grow as myself. I’m so blessed to be a member of this amazing community. Please stop by and say hello if you’re able. I hope for you a lovely day and a blessed day. I had to add the video of Takita Blue eating our blackberries off of the plant yesterday. He is such a joy and light in my life. He is also my pottery buddy and I am his Emotional Support Human.

It is so nice to be here today. I’ve pretty much sheltered in my house , Potting Shed and garage because of the smoke. I’m looking forward to seeing and visiting with people. Good morning. I’m all set up and ready to greet everyone as they come to the Kootenai County Farmers Market today. We are open 9-1:30. I have more Kitty Vases and even sculpted Morel mushrooms. I’ve included a picture of a commission I did for a client. Every now and then someone comes up with an idea that reawakens my creativity. I’m pleased with the result of the utensils with mushrooms. Enjoy this beautiful day and I hope it is a good one for you.

Well here we are, all set up at the Thompson Falls Farmers Market, in Thompson Falls Montana. It is nice to be back where I first touched my hands to Clay and fell in love. I found my passion here 40 years ago. I’m getting to get a good visit in with my sister and brother in law and my sweet daughter. Very lovely.

The smoke is not bad this morning. I’m hoping that it will be a day of some blue skies above. The vendors here at the market are busy setting up and getting ready to greet the lovely people who will brave the smoke today. I am planning on going to the Thompson Falls Farmers Market this coming Thursday. I’m looking forward to seeing faces of people who I haven’t seen for 20 years. It should be fun.
