Watch me perform surgery on my 2x2 machine. 🔧😂

Now, before anyone gets concerned, I have exactly zero medical training. My qualifications include owning a screwdriver, being stubborn, and watching way too many episodes of Grey’s Anatomy.

Current diagnosis: machine isn’t cooperating.
Treatment plan: take it apart and hope I remember where all the pieces go.
Surgical team: me, myself, and an iced coffee.
Success rate: we’ll find out together.

If this thing survives, I’m calling it a miracle. If not, please remember me as the girl who confidently performed mechanical surgery after binge-watching medical dramas. 🤣

Vendor math is a special kind of math. 😂

Market opens at 9 AM.
Setup starts at 7 AM.
I might start setting up at 6:30 AM.
Which means I need to leave by 6:15 AM.
Or 6:00 AM if I want to cash in that Dutch Bros gift card.

Therefore, I should wake up at 5:00 AM to get ready and finish loading the car.

Current status:
✅ Car seats removed.
🤷‍♀️Car packed ish.
❌ Reasonable bedtime.

If I’m asleep by 1:00 AM, that gives me a solid 4 hours of sleep. According to vendor math, 4 hours of sleep + Dutch Bros + pure determination = fully functional business owner.

According to actual math… well, we’re not using actual math right now. 😂

At this point my business plan is:

1. Wake up.
2. Acquire coffee.
3. Become coffee.
4. Sell magnets.

If you see me tomorrow and I seem extra cheerful, just know I’m running on caffeine, birthday-party leftovers, and the unwavering confidence of someone who packed their booth in the dark. ☕😂💙

Redoing all your premades the night before a show? That’s definitely on the spicy side of vendor life though.

’Twas the night before my very first farmers market,
And should I be prepped? …probably.
Am I? Absolutely not. 😂

The kids are finally tucked into bed, I’m over here finishing up a bulk order — YAY! — after sending out a 23lb box of magnets all the way to Utah today. 🤯✨ Cache Valley Car Show is about to have some killer magnets headed their way!

Meanwhile over here in true small business mom life fashion:
✔️ Coloring magnets still need prepped
✔️ Special Coeur d’Alene inspired magnets are being made
✔️ Booth chaos is fully activated
✔️ Coffee levels are concerning 😂

But I’m SO excited.

As a CDA born & raised single momma, it means so much to finally be part of the 5th Street Farmers Market this season. I cannot wait to meet new friends, amazing vendors, and all of you. 💙

You’ll find me tomorrow at Spot 62 between Sherman & Front Street with custom magnets, coloring magnets, brand new CDA-inspired designs, and lots of excitement (and probably a little chaos too 😂).

Memorial Day feels different as a mom.

I look at my boys running barefoot through the grass, laughing without worry, living in the freedom so many fought to protect… and my heart just feels heavy with gratitude. ❤️

Today isn’t just about the long weekend or the BBQs. It’s about the sons, daughters, moms, dads, husbands, wives, and friends who never made it home. The families who carry that loss every single day so the rest of us can live the lives we do.

There are really no perfect words big enough for that kind of sacrifice.

So today we remember them. We honor them. We speak their names. We thank the families left behind. And we hold a little extra gratitude for the freedoms we so easily take for granted.
