As we go through life we have special things, pets, cars, friends, and even toys, the cow pictured below was one of those special things. I don’t cry much but I could not hold back the tears as this beauty who was almost 13 years old left us today. She was bred and owned, she was a jr champ, a senior champ and a couple times over a supreme champion, she classified 95 points and made 3 beautiful daughters that still call Heaven Scent farms home. The real thing I’m going to miss is her human like qualities. She was the leader of the herd, when it was milking time she would ball after I yelled and the rest of the herd would follow. She would look right at you and grunt at you if she had expectations. She loved life and she loved her calves. So many emotions right now. Sad to see her go but we all have to start new chapters occasionally.
