Invitation to Learn ~ Antiques Forum ~ Saturday, Oct. 17th at 2:30pm. Please join us for Earth, Wind and Fire, an exploration of the influence of the Elements and how they shaped antiques, art and design of the 18th and early 19th centuries. We will look at a wide range of materials, origins and ages to discover how these pieces were made, and used, and what they represent. As always, our Forums are Free and All are Welcome.
Thanks and look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Big things in small packages. It's always a good time to slow down and appreciate the small things in life. Here are some examples from the Shop that I enjoy; a tin teapot, made in New England between 1790 and 1820, a paint decorated tea caddy made in England between 1790 and 1810, and two candlestands made in New England between 1770 and 1795. As I mentioned, the two candlestands have distinctive design and construction that suggest a particular origin. But where? If you have any ideas of where you think they were made please let us know. Hope you can come by the Shop sometime and have a look around and see which of the small things catches your attention. Thanks for watching and enjoy!

Antiques Forum this Saturday, Sept. 19th at 2:00pm. We were never very good at Algebra, but we hope you can join us to explore the complex equation that determines value in the world of antiques and art. Quality + Condition are only part of the variables, there is so much more to ponder. As always, our Forums are Free and All are Welcome. Hope to see you Saturday!

Welcome back to the New Hampshire Antiques Show sponsored by New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Association. Today it’s all about some big smalls, carved birds, Staffordshire cup plates, silhouettes and more. I couldn’t resist throwing in a couple pieces of diminutive furniture that can be considered small in their respective worlds. Please stop on by the show and say hi, we’re here through Saturday, and thanks for watching.

When in the course of human events... you wonder what life was like in 1776... come on out and find out! We are excited to celebrate America 250 and offer a close look at the furniture and decorative arts of 1776. Besides the Declaration of Independence, there was a revolution of thought, art and design. We are excited to share a select group of antiques to help illustrate this powerful moment in history.
Our Forum, as always, will be held at our Shop, 168 South Main Street, Colchester, Connecticut. It is Free and All Are Welcome. Grab your powder and your gun and report to Nathan Liverant and Son! Look forward to seeing you here. Thanks!
