We're joining bookstores across the country to celebrate one of our favorite genres--romance! We'll be fully stocked with the season's hottest romance reads, a special selection of our personal favorites, and some romance-related goodies. And the best part: all romance books and blind dates will be buy one, get one half off!

-Sun 8/16: In Store Book Signing
To follow Bookstore Romance Day, we're hosting a romance author! Stop in between 12-3 to meet Hayden Fox, author of second chance hockey romance The Way Back to You, and get a signed copy!

-Thurs 8/20: Pop-Up Shop at Hop Culture
Come see us at Hop Culture Brewery for a grown-up book fair! There will be local beers, book shopping, blind dates, bookish crafts, raffles, and more! Don't miss out on the fun!

-Sat 8/22: Pop-Up Shop at South Windsor Public Library's LibraryCon
Meet your next fun literary event! South Windsor Public Library is hosting LibraryCon, a bookish event featuring vendors, food trucks, cosplay, and more! We'll be popping up in their vendor hall with a selection of books for every reader.

-Sun 8/30: Summer Reading Completion Celebration
We're hosting an exclusive shopping event and celebration for those who completed their summer reading bingo cards. We'll have snacks, prizes, and a discount on your total purchase. To get an invite, all you need to do is turn in your completed Summer Reading Bingo card by 8/16.

Want to try watercolor painting in a relaxed, low-pressure setting? Now is your chance! This Sunday at 4 PM Art With Leslie will lead a Watercolor Flow class at Folklore & Fable. All supplies needed will be included in your ticket price, and you'll leave with a few postcard-sized paintings.

*Holiday Weekend Hours*

In observation of the 4th of July holiday, we have slightly modified our hours this weekend. We'll be open our normal hours on Friday and Sunday (10-8 and 10-4, respectively), but will be closing at 2 PM on Saturday.

As our nation marks the occasion of its 250th birthday, many may find themselves reflecting on the country's past, present, and future. This month, we have put together a specially curated selection of books for those wanting to read more about America's complicated history and the people and events that shaped it.
