I’m Katie, the girl behind Katie Ann Photography.

It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself, or been in front of the camera, so after my littles were tucked in tonight, I snuck out to the studio to do just that.

I recently left my job in healthcare to focus full-time on my studio, my photography, and being home more with my three little guys. Photography has become a bit of an obsession of mine over the last few years. Newborns will always have a special place in my heart (give me all the tiny babies 🥹), but I love capturing milestones, families, and everything in between.

I’m married to my husband, Josh, who is basically the behind-the-scenes construction crew around here. He helped build my studio and is occasionally talked into building whatever random prop or idea I’ve decided I need next.

One of my favorite things about this career is that it’s given me more time with my own boys, while also constantly reminding me just how fast these years really do go, and how important photos really are. Everyone tells you that, but man… they aren’t kidding. I catch myself looking back at pictures from two years ago, four years ago, even just last year, wondering how in the world they got so big so fast.

My oldest little guy actually turns FIVE tomorrow, which is extra crazy because he was also the very first newborn I ever photographed. No, I will NOT be sharing those pictures because… oh my. 😂 We’ve done a whole lot of learning since then.

But that little living room newborn session five years ago is really where all of this started. I had no idea at the time where it would eventually take me.

So if you’re new here, Hi! I’m Katie. Mom of three boys, wife, baby whisperer, and very thankful I get to call this my job. 🤍

So come spend a day in Cole Camp visiting us of course, crafting and buying from handmade vendors and get some yummy baked goods too!! As well as visiting all of Cole Camps stores and restaurant!!
