The world’s fair is here!! It’s so hard to grasp all the feelings that happen during this special 3 day event. Volunteers work all year in preparation for these 3 days. Everyone comes home for the fair and it’s this big reunion 1x a year. The streets are filled with old friends and the smell of cheeseburgers. The laughter of kids running and playing games, the parade, the art and baking contest, the streets are just busting with joy. It’s truly the most amazing feeling and every year I am flooded with emotions, from all the memories made each and every year. I have instilled the love of the fair with my girls, we live for these fun filled days. And it warms my heart to know the younger generations love it just as much as I did and still do. It’s such a magical time for our little town.
I drink and eat too much, I stay up too late but it’s like the right of passage 😂 it’s the worlds fair!! Live it up and sleep on Sunday.
