Good morning!

It is our pleasure to let you know that we have posted our very first Facebook post! It is our interview with Ms. Selamawit Abebe, and it has gained considerable popularity in less than 24 hours! On Friday March 3rd, a group of Unsung Heroes members handed out roses and cards to workers in STAMP for Employee Appreciation Day. It was a small gesture of kindness, but we could feel how much it meant to staff! We decided to make a short video of our experience, which you can watch here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_4hejwdlh4. We plan to post this video to our page, but please let me know it is okay to do so.

We interviewed 4 workers last week, and can't wait to do more! Please let me know if you have more nominations!

Unsung Heroes has also received many requests to interview specific workers who students have a strong connection with. I was hoping Unsung Heroes could begin independently interviewing these workers, provided we give them a flyer and explain our consent form. Would that be alright with you, as long as I let you know who they are?

For example, I have the following names of workers:

Lidie (location unknown)
Tigist B. Gebrehiwot (Facilities and housekeeping in stamp)

Thank you all so much for supporting our cause! We are looking forward to making more connections with workers. Today we have a general body meeting at Symons 3300, where we will discuss our past week and devise a plan for our fundraising team.
