just wanted to take a moment and highlight the re-releases that just came out.

this band has a very special place in my heart. every one of these albums lived in my CD player while i was growing up. the band formed out of the ashes of slowdive. they took everything that was perfect about slowdive and infused it with alt-country… the result is just 5 solid albums of dream poppy twangy goodness that can evoke feelings ranging from melancholy to pure bliss.

in my book these albums are nothing short of perfection. i am beyond happy that they got reissued and that i can stop being scared to play my originals. (these sound better anyways- thanks abbey road!)
