I've been a busy little goth since the in DE last weekend! I am absolutely speechless. We SOLD OUT of our waist chains, harnesses, and suncatchers- with necklaces and boot chains not far behind!!! My beloved Alessandra even went home with a fellow ITM loving black widow ♡ Thank you everyone who came out to support and purchase from us! Our shop is down while I work to come up with more designs, but please reach out if there's anything you are looking for in the meantime.

She's finally done! This one took inspo from concepts I've seen over time from a couple other artists- but this particular design is my own rendition. I challenged myself into something with beading because I havent done anything like it- and I'm really happy with the result! Can't wait to find a model for it!

For Sneak Peek Sunday, here's a little taste of what I've been working on the last 2 weeks.

It's definitely challenged me, and has instigated using more beading in my creations. Initially, I worried it would cheapen the aesthetic and take away from the stainless steel intensity I started with, but this has helped me realize that the right ones can look like a crystal masterpiece.

As I doomscrolled yesterday- I was disheartened to see Etsy, Shein, Amazon, and even secondhand places like Vinted selling more and more fast fashion pieces.

It's not about the low cost- I understand the necessity for accessibility; I always ensure my products have a healthy range to ensure affordability. However, my attempts at sustainability have me in thrift stores constantly- where I'm seeing the FashionNova, Shein, Forever 21, H&M labels over and over - and can only imagine the implications of this long term.
I will continue to learn and attempt upcycled fashion techniques to keep these items out of landfills while also providing unique clothing and accessory options for members of the alt and goth community.
It does not surprise me in the least that France would be the first to protect the sanctity of handmade art and fashion.
One can only hope this will extend to other parts of the world.
