You will learn the foundation stitches of geometric smocking and will gain the skills to embellish dresses and rompers. Class format is two sessions on Thursdays, Oct. 22nd & 29th (10 am to 2 pm). Are you ready to take the next step and learn how to construct a bishop or a bishop bubble? Join us on Saturday, Oct. 17th (10 am to 2 pm) with instructor Regina for this fun advanced beginner garment construction class.
🧵For this class, you will need a bishop tied off and blocked to size with a 1/2" seam allowance on both ends. The bishop/bubble does not need to be completely smocked before class but must have a minimum of the top row smocked and top holding row back-smocked. If you need help or have any questions please call The Sewing House/Lace Cottage and ask for Regina. We also have Lace Cottage Sit & Sew sessions you can sign up to attend to prep.
