Blessed Equinox + Hello Aries Season

With the night and day being equal I sit with the ideas of balance. Light and dark. I spend so much energy trying to focus on the light that I often neglect the shadow. As I dive into this new year I honor a rebirth. As an Aries sun passions my are relight at this time and I'm feeling a surge of energy. However a shift has occurred for me, instead of that energy boost being used for external pleasures, running around, being physically active, and drowning myself in activities within my community, I feel drawn to dive within. Persephone comes to me in my dreams. The queen of the underworld is encouraging me to dig deep into the muck. Not to clear it away but to exist within it. It is daunting to enter the depths. But I have this deep knowing I will not get stuck there. I have the ability to exist in both the light and the dark and that only makes the light so much brighter.
Embarking on this journey into the depths I feel called to work with Passionflower, Elder, Hawthorne, and Blood Orange for support and guidance.
Shadow work is all new for me, a concept I've admired people for practicing, but one I've never felt brave enough to take on myself. I offer gratitude to the friends I've spoken with over these past few months who have shared their experiences and tools on their journey.
