I think i could paint this every week for a year and each one would be different! Which version is your favorite? The black or turquoise? I, personally, like the turquoise background better but I like my composition of the black version better. I foresee me adding something to the turquoise version tomorrow!

It's done! I'll post a side-by-side comparison of the black & turquoise versions soon and you can vote on which you like best. I need to set down and create the instructions before I add this to the shop as an ART KIT TO-GO.

Another customer shout out! Diana Camren shared with me her rendition of the Bold Butterfly. Her choice to make the flower purple and Butterfly all orange were a great choice as they are complimentary colors. Hers is also more subtle as she chose not to use any black except for the body & antennae.

Diana has said to me MANY times, "I'm not artistic/crafty" and I'm here to say, "Diana, you certainly are!"

If you're one of those people who say the same thing as Diana then let me assure you, we all have a little artist inside of us waiting to be set free. Whether that is through painting, drawing, sewing, gardening, interior design.... it's in there! We simply have to unlock the door and welcome the artist inside.

💙💛Customer Shout Out!!💛💙

Sandi Turnipseed Edgar is my childhood BFF's mom. A few months ago I sent Lori the gift of two Art Kits To-Go because, well, just because. Sandi spent a short period of time each day over the course of a few months working on her Rainy Day Blooms painting. There is no rule that says you have to finish a painting in one sitting. This was her first time painting and wouldn't you agree she did a fantastic job? I love seeing people try something new. Thank you for sharing Sandi, and graciously allowing me to sing your praises!

Look what I did today between grocery pick up, patio furniture shopping, repotting a plant, and laundry! So much checked off the to-do list and yet it was extremely relaxing.

Can you guess which one is AI? 😂 I come up with my ideas with a combination of Canva & Chatgpt. But I always want to follow up with a true-to-life "hand-painted original". Is mine as "picture perfect" as my reference? Nope! Am I okay with that? Heck yeah I am! I will probably never paint as realistically as the reference photo and for those in the back... I'M TOTALLY GOOD WITH THAT! Will I tweak my version some more? Yes. I have a few little things I want to add & one thing I wish to change. But, if I didn't do any of that, I would still hang this beauty on the wall and smile each time I looked at it.
