A BIG Pink Poodle THANK YOU to Nicole and Seraphin (Seraphin is with us courtesy of Willey's BBQ) for being here with us today and helping us serve all of our wonderful friends and customers on our final day of the 2026 season! 🐩🎶🍦

We are especially grateful to these two ladies for sticking with us as we wind down the season. Showing up, pitching in, working together, and helping us finish strong means more to us than they may ever realize. 💗

💗 A SPECIAL THANK YOU FROM THE PINK POODLE! 💗

Before we begin another busy day, we want to take a moment to recognize something that means a great deal to us — the kindness of fellow small-business owners right here in Colonial Beach.

After Labor Day weekend, our season wasn’t officially over, and with the Northern Neck Beach Music Festival bringing another busy weekend to town, we unexpectedly found ourselves extremely short-handed at the close of last weekend.
With only one Team Member remaining to work alongside us, we honestly weren’t sure whether we would have enough help to open and serve everyone this weekend.

As co-owners, we would never ask a Team Member to do something we aren’t willing to do ourselves. So yesterday, Tina traded her usual responsibilities for the serving area and had the pleasure of working right alongside our wonderful Team Member, Nicole Nail. 💗🍦
Sometimes owning a small business simply means rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever needs to be done!

But what really touched us most was having other local business owners recognize that we could use a hand — and reach out to offer one.

We want to give a very special THANK YOU once again to RENEE & WILLEY of WILLEY’S BARBECUE, who stepped in and helped us when we truly needed it. Your kindness will not be forgotten. ❤️

We also want to sincerely thank ROBY & TARA of PIER 909 RESTAURANT, that also helped out and offered their assistance both yesterday and today. Simply knowing that another business were willing to step up and help meant more to us than you probably realize.

This is what COMMUNITY is supposed to look like. Small businesses may have different names on their signs, but we can still encourage one another, support one another, and lend a hand when someone needs it.
