Hello friends, we are now in our final push to clear inventory. The store will be permanently closing in a month. We are currently offering 35% off most items. Dear friends,

It is with sad and heavy hearts that we are announcing a closing sale. So many of you gave so much to help our store in July. It pulled us through the summer. But the hard reality is that this store continues to be unsustainable. We have been in the red for months now, and with the economy the way it is, the store has simply struggled. We ask that you would please be in prayer for us as we consider our options moving forward. As it stands right now, it looks like the store will be closing after Christmas. We will be offering additional discounts during this time, in order to help pay our final bills. We are also exploring transitioning the business to a nonprofit model to see if that might bring relief.

While there are many unknowns right now, here’s what we do know: God has used you to bless us immensely over the years. Your prayers, care and support have brought us this far. You made it worth all the sacrifice and effort up to this point. We also know that our God is a provider, and that he could at any time make a way for the store to go forward. We do not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future, and that is enough for us.

Pray for us, even as we pray for you. In the meantime, we'd love for you to stop by, pick up a good book, and just visit with us.

This is a hard post, but we need to be honest - Our store is in a critical period. We need a miracle if we are going to keep our doors open.

Our current owner saved this store several years ago with the conviction that this was a ministry, and that a local Christian bookstore could still touch lives with the hope and truth of Jesus Christ. And it has.

Obviously our deep desire is for this store to stay open and serve the community for years to come, but if our current circumstances do not change, we will have to close our doors very soon. This is such a hard reality for us, especially after all the blood, sweat, tears poured into keeping this store active. But this is where we are.

And we are asking for your help in two ways:

2) Would you consider stopping in and shopping locally with us for your personal or church needs?

We know Amazon is easier and sometimes cheaper, but we really do believe this little store has a place in our community and has so much to offer. Amazon doesn’t love Jesus, but our employees do. Amazon doesn’t pray daily for its customers, but our employees do. Amazon isn’t concerned with the spiritual well-being of those who buy from them, but we are. We love the Tri-cities and we love the people who walk through our doors, and we want to stay around.

In an effort to be competitive, we are holding a store-wide summer clearance sale, with most items 20% off and Church supplies 10% off. This is a critically needed time for us. It would mean so much for you to stop by in order to shop with us.
