Feeling incredibly humbled by the small business community today.
Following Painted Tree’s announcement that they’ve filed for bankruptcy, vendors were given 14 days to close their stores. It’s a challenging moment, with a lot of emotions to navigate.
What stands out most, though, is the overwhelming sense of support. I’ve seen vendors step up to help each other across state lines, and local businesses — even those outside of Painted Tree — offer resources like warehouse space to help during this transition.
It’s a powerful reminder of the resilience and generosity within the small business community.
If there’s ever been a time to support small businesses, it’s now.
