New Rainbow Lab Kit! If you have a kindergartener like me, I’m sure yours is also obsessed with the rainbow. Everything must go in ROYGBIV order according to her standards. Since she loves the rainbow and she loves all things science and sensory play this kit was an easy one to pull together especially once I found these amazing color changing tablets. This month I’ll be closing my booth at Painted Tree. It was a tough decision, but with limited time and energy, I need to focus on the most life-giving parts of my business.

Back when I was in a classroom, I used to love doing a post office theme for Valentine’s Day so the kids could practice their letter writing skills. I thought it would be a great idea to create a reusable version of that idea with these felt stamps and envelopes. The stamps are removable with the help of Velcro dots and did you notice the stamps represent a month of the year? And since I value practicality as much as I value creativity, this set includes a canvas mail bag to keep everything together.

I’m calling this mix “Love Letters.” I have a similar kit already so with just a few tweeks, my alphabet sensory kit is now themed perfectly for Valentine’s Day. The pasta letters are colored with metallic acrylics and the kit includes, 4 cups of the sensory mix, alphabet heart coins, an activity mat and a sensory brush. It’s available in both uppercase and lowercase. Available in my shop today!

A customer reached out and asked if I would be creating any sensory kits for Valentine’s Day. At the time I didn’t really have a solid idea, then yesterday I suddenly got a burst of creative energy and I created two kits!
Sensory play is great in general for all kinds of reasons but I like to always include a math or literacy element. I couldn’t resist adding little wooden love bugs to this set and the wooden heart coins are the perfect addition for a Valentine theme. I’m a big fan of mud kitchens, but I noticed even if other moms were also a fan of mud kitchens, they could feel intimated about what things to include, so I created this mud kitchen in a box to get you started.
