This was so much fun and sooo tedious. Teaching different Native American Beading styles and coming up with a pattern that has meaning and depth was challenging but so worth it. I am actually going to be making a second over time for our home.
The red eagles are a symbol of strength and wisdom and freedom for our great nation, and in these hard times it is important to remember the freedoms we have and are blessed with and to continue to fight with endurance to protect the freedoms we have.
The arrows represent protection and a guiding path.
The rainbow alignment of colors to remind us that there is always something to look forward to after a storm.
Red represents strength, war, passion, woman, blood, earth and The Spiritual Life.
Orange, the color of sunshine and regeneration.
Yellow is the color of bravery, heroism, dawn and intelligence.
White is the color of peace, purity, paradise, mourning and snow.
Turquoise is especially special to me as it is naturally found in our western parts of the country and symbolizes water, sky, bountiful harvests, health, and protection.
Black stands for death, disease, aggression and man. Without black we cannot maintain the balance.
Brown also symbolizes death and our connection to the earth through our animal brethren.
I hope this piece breeds the reminder of our spiritual journey here and our connection to our beautiful mother earth.
Blessed be, friends.
