Happy Birthday, Angel!

In case you didn't know, Angel is the rockstar behind our social media and handles all things website and online strategy. She's definitely the resident beacon of positivity and light in the shop! Angel puts her all into everything she does and sends it harder than anyone that has ever strapped skis to their feet!

Beyond the shop, Angel is an amazing mother to two beautiful kiddos, who shred just as hard as she does, as well as a whole crew of furry kids. She loves Taylor Swift, outdoor adventure, plants, sour dough bread (ask her about Bread Pitt!), and just about anything that involves helping others!

Some of the Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport team had the incredible opportunity to travel to Chile this past week, and what an unforgettable experience it was!

From skiing the incredible terrain at Valle Nevado Ski Resort to exploring the beauty of Santiago, we had the chance to experience a completely different ski culture, learn from industry professionals, and see firsthand what makes skiing in the Southern Hemisphere so special.

A huge thank you to for making this trip possible and for being such amazing hosts. We truly appreciate the opportunity, the hospitality, and everything you shared with us throughout the week.

We’re heading home inspired, with unforgettable memories, and a fresh appreciation for the global ski community.

Today we're celebrating 250 years of American history and a long weekend spent doing what we love most: getting outside, making memories, and spending time with the people who matter. Whether you're paddling, camping, hiking, grilling, or just enjoying a well-earned day off, we hope you have a fun and safe holiday. Thank you for supporting our small, locally owned business and for being part of this amazing community. We can't wait to see you this summer and again when the snow starts to fall.

Happy Birthday to our very own Izzy! Some people just have a way of making every room a little brighter, and that’s exactly who Izzy is. She’s kind, thoughtful, endlessly creative, incredibly smart, and somehow always brings the best energy wherever she goes. What started as a retail position has grown into something so much bigger, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch her step into her new role as our E-Commerce Lead. We know she’s going to absolutely crush it. Like moonlight, Izzy has this quiet way of making everything around her better. She’s adventurous, free-thinking, always down for a snowboard day, illuminates all the beauty in life around her, and the definition of good vibes. We’re so lucky to have you on our team, and even luckier to call you our friend.

Memorial Day always hits a little different when you’ve worn the uniform. Today isn’t about sales or long weekends. It’s about remembering the men and women who never made it home. The ones who gave absolutely everything so the rest of us could have the freedom to chase powder days, road trips, mountain mornings, and time with the people we love. As one of Rocky Mountain Ski + Sport’s resident veterans, I just want to say thank you to those we lost and to the families who carry that grief every single day. Your sacrifice is not forgotten. If you’re heading outside today, take a second at the trailhead, on the lake, at the mountain, or around the grill to remember why we have the freedom to enjoy these moments in the first place.
