Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique is a special community store. We are the ONLY all-volunteer non-profit thrift store of its kind in the area. We feature new and gently used clothing, furniture, jewelry, antiques and artwork, books, pet supplies, household items and especially animal-themed products. All profits from Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique are distributed on a monthly basis to a select numbe

r of deserving local groups and causes. Each month, there is a featured Group of the Month, plus we give out grants to multiple groups on a quarterly basis. Come to Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique to shop in an atmosphere that is comfortable; where it's bright, clean, and enjoyable to shop. We are selective in what we sell so that our customers know when they come to Rescued Hearts Unique Boutique they will find an ever-changing selection of good quality merchandise at reasonable prices. In addition to the donated goods, we purchase some select lines of pet supplies and gift items to sell at fair retail prices.

We had a nice turnout of representatives from the Old Mutt Hut. In the past year, they moved from their country location, to a home in town. There had been a lot of nice things about being out on the prairie, but accessibility to vets in bad weather made it necessary to move closer.

Rosy collects our first check to Peak to Peak Keeshond Rescue in several years. They had received a donation from a private benefactor back then, and graciously told us that they did not need to be included in our Grants for a while. As with all Rescue groups, money does run out, and we were very happy to include them in this round of Grants. Older foster dogs have a lot of vet bills, so we are happy to help with that!

Giving a check to Donna from Second Chance Animal Rescue in Lamar In person was pretty special for us. Normally, it’s hard for her to make it to these events, so we usually just mail her her check. But she was able to combine transporting a couple of older dogs from her area who needed a home to a group here while she was at the store. It was great being able to spend time with her and for her to get to talk to the other groups, too. Networking saves lives.!!!
