Savannah got some studio time in recently. I helped her with a little wire reinforcement for those hinge joints, but she totally knocked this out of the park all on her own. I love seeing people get some glassy zen time in!

She said this was a ween tattoo piece or something? But I don’t see that.

You asked and we listened! We’ve been working on adding fusing classes with a similar set up to our stained glass classes - self-scheduling, design choice freedom.

I call glass fusing “glass macaroni art” because its so easy for beginners. These crafty classes are meant to be as simple as possible. If you’ve balked at how complex stained glass is, or even shy away from trying to fit mosaic pieces together, come check out these classes.

Let’s talk about one of my most amazing supporters and favorite fused glass artist, glenn.fusion! Martha is always making such gorgeous art, which she sells at both eclecticco._ and eclecticocc._.

Here’s some of her work! I’m selfishly also taking a moment to plug that some of those green leaf murrine pieces in her projects…? Those are The Glass Collective originals. We have 3 murrine we’ve made so far:
Summer Leaves (shades of green, available for purchase)
Fall Leaves (red, orange, yellow mix, available for purchase)
Yellow Tulips (two toned yellow, available soon!)
Shoutout to Shawn for his big part in creating these murrine! I’m gonna start calling him Murrine Maestro!

But also, when Martha wants something, she gets it. Just like Ariana Grande said, “I want it, I got it.” In that vein, she wanted fall glass, so she MADE HER OWN! How gorgeous is that autumn color mix. 😊
