Cozy Vintage Christmas Handmade Primitive Dolls and Holiday Home Decor I simply love every minute of it! Here in my little home-based shop I value quality over quantity.

I love creating Primitive & Folkart dolls and I incorporate that love into each and every handmade item I create. I take my time and put lots of attention to detail into every single original One-Of-A-Kind piece of art I create, along with imagination, uniqueness and whimsy! I don't have anyone working for me. I create each and every doll, every stitch, every detail from start to finish by myself. When you add one of my items to your home you can be assured that it was completely handcrafted by me and only me. I use only high quality materials to create my art. I make sure that my items are solid, sturdy and well constructed. I realize that my items aren't just a decoration for one season, or one holiday. I know they will be brought out year after year, or on display every day of the year. Some will be given to loved ones and special friends as gifts or even handed down to children and grandchildren... they become part of a family and a home so I make sure each one is very special. I use only non-toxic materials in the creation of my art and nothing that I use has a chemical odor. The only scent my dolls will have are the wonderful, pleasant, heart-warming smells of coffee, tea, cinnamon and vanilla. I use hypoallergenic stuffing and my items are created in a completely smoke free and clean environment. Of course: Every piece of art I create has to first receive Scampers "Kitten Paw Print of Approval" before it enters my shop! Scamper is one of our cats, and he loves to hang out on my work table to supervise and help with everything I do! Every piece of art is signed and dated by me, and stamped with a little paw print. I enjoy knowing that the items I create with my whole heart, here in my home surrounded by the love of my family, will be treasured by my customers as a part of their own homes and families! Good Morning Friends!! Well, the day my hubby and I have been waiting for is almost here. After years of him writing upstairs in his little office, Rob’s first novel, 'Ebenezer Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Love' will be published on November 5th. It will be officially available to purchase on Amazon and Barnes and Noble on November 5th but is available for pre-order now!
Paradigm Talent Agency signed him, and his agent sold the book to Simon & Schuster / Post Hill Press. He even dedicated the book to me! We’ve got our fingers crossed that it’ll be a big success. He even managed to put two of our rescue kitty cats in the story…LoL. His publisher is marketing the story as “an instant Christmas classic!”

It all started when we were watching the old 1951 black-and-white version of Scrooge (A Christmas Carol) several years ago. When the movie was over, I told him that I thought the story of Scrooge’s redemption didn’t seem complete. When he asked me why, I told him that if Scrooge really had a change of heart, he would’ve tried to apologize to his former fiancé Allyce for breaking her heart. But the movie ended like every version does, with no mention of Allyce. You can see Scrooge fall for Allyce all over again and the pangs of remorse when he’s visiting and watching her with the Ghost of Christmas Present, but she can’t hear him calling her name. I told hubby, THAT’S the book you should write, a dramatic love story about Scrooge looking for redemption for breaking Allyce’s heart in the first place when he was a younger man and had let money come between them. We spent the next hour talking about it, and I could see that “A-ha!” look on his face.. and here we are.. 4 years later!

No one has EVER written a genuine sequel to the original A Christmas Carol before now, I'm so proud of Rob!
( There's even talk of a potential book signing tour for Rob and initial efforts are being taken to try to get this onto the 'Big Screen')
