This rugged heart shaped pouch is
6 1/4" deep x 7" wide. It is made out of 5oz veg tan and welted. The back panel is lined with a corse woven cotton. The small interior pocket a d the front opening are both reinforced. The 1" wide strap is adjustable with a solid brass buckle. The flap has no button as it was designed to be held close by the powder horn much like originals.

Here is my offering for the 250th Anniversary of the GREAT United States of America 🇺🇸
This Gathering Bag is 11″ wide and 13″ deep, with a veg tan reinforced bottom that is 4 1/2″ wide. The bag body is made out of a heavy vintage cotton feed sack and lined with cotton. It is welted with leather, and the hand loomed strap by Daniel Lamping is 1 1/2″ wide and attched doubled veg tan tabs.
It is all hand sewn with linen and h**p thread.
There is a large inside pocket that the opening edge is bound like the opening of the bag.
This Gathering Bag with stand your test of time and trail, and I left it undyed/aged so you can’t put your own patina on it.
The price of $215$ INCLUDES Priority Shipping and Insurance.

This wonderfully “aged” pouch is ready for your hunting season, or day trip to the woods.
It is constructed with 4oz veg tan, welted and lined with calf skin. It is 6″ deep and 8 1/4″ wide with a ample size pocket sewn to the back panel. The opening edge of the pouch and pocket are trimmed as well. The 1″ 5oz veg tan strap has plenty of length for adjustment with the solid brass buckle. The flap is long like many originals and can be held closed with your powder horn.

If'n you are looking for a well made and good looking gathering bag then this is it! 11 1/4" deep and 10 1/2" wide, made out of 4oz veg tan rough side out and coverlet. Lined with a blue wool. The inside pocket is
4 x 6" and the opening is trimmed out. The brass "D" rings are attached to doubled veg tanned tabs, and the h**p/jute strap is 1 1/2" wide allowing for ample load bearing. I also left plenty of strap for you to make it fit you. Also, check out the vintage floral button for closure.

How about a new pouch to accommodate that new firelock you're going to get for Christmas?

This one is made out of "pulled up" cow hide and is 7" wide x 7 1/2" deep with a 1" gusset. The welts are short fringed to give it that extra touch. The back panel and flap is lined with a corse woven cotton while the front panel remains unlined. The front opening edge and interior pocket are trimmed to prevent "breakdown" during usage.
It has been sewn with h**p and linen thread. The 1" wide strap is 5oz veg tan and is adjustable with a solid brass buckle.
This pouch will stand your test of time and trail and is ready for the woods.
The price INCLUDES Priority shipping and Insurance.
