Signups for item repairs has closed, but if you have questions about MACCLab or just want to come check out the space, we're open 9am to 3pm for tours. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes.

📌 Good to know: MACCLab is located downstairs on the basement level of Moberly Area Community College – Columbia at Parkade Plaza. There is plenty of free parking available.

Flavor & Comfort went from a pop-up to a FOOD TRUCK! It’s still surreal to say that out loud. I’ve always had a vision for what Flavor & Comfort could become, but seeing that vision come to life is something special. I’m a home cook, and I wear that title with pride. I have no formal culinary experience. Food Network taught me about 95% of what I know! But that’s what I love about home cooking. There’s soul, love, and something special in food made from the heart. I’ve always said our food feels like a hug on a plate, and that’s exactly what I want Flavor & Comfort to represent.

There are so many people who have helped me along the way, but I have to give a special shoutout to Jenn. Flavor & Comfort wouldn’t be what it is without her. She does so much behind the scenes that people may never see, and I’m forever grateful for her. And of course, my girls. This business is bigger than me. I’m building something for them, something they can be proud of, and hopefully something that becomes part of their legacy. My goal is for Flavor & Comfort to become one of Columbia’s staples, right alongside places like Murry’s, Tony’s, Shakespeare’s, G&D, and Broadway Brewery. I want us to be a place people grow up going to, bring their families to, and remember for years to come.

Going from a pop-up to a food truck was goal number one, and we did it! Now it’s time to work toward the next goal: a brick-and-mortar location and beyond. But we’ll save that story for another day. To everyone who has supported me, tried our food, shared a post, placed an order, booked us for an event, or simply encouraged me along the way, THANK YOU! You’re part of this journey, and I don’t take that for granted. And if you haven’t tried us yet, I hope we get the opportunity to serve you soon. Flavor & Comfort: Comfort food that feels like a hug on a plate. ❤️ This is only the beginning!

One lane on North Garth Avenue between Austin Avenue and Business Loop 70 East in Columbia will close on Tuesday. Columbia Water Utility will close the southbound lane beginning 7 a.m. on Tuesday until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

ATTN COLUMBIA: The deck (aka driving surface) for the new Providence Road bridge over I-70 in Columbia was poured on Tuesday, Oct. 6. While this milestone showcases the great progress being made, there is still a lot of work to complete before opening the bridge, which is now anticipated for mid-November 2026.
