One More Saturday Night Driving again edition!
Well it's been one challenge after another.
Finally went home for a day.
Took Crowley to the er as was recommended by medical staff at the Orion.
Because of the Myelopathy he drags his feet and bumps his knees together while he walks. As there are no shoes that fit his deformed foot we added velcro to sandles to make that work for the summer.
He has a few fairly deep wounds that we have been tending to.
But we are doing a good job keeping them clean and healthy thanks to Rochelle Baca amazing salve!! It is a lifesaver literally!!
ER took xrays and said it looked pretty good for what we are dealing with. But that foot is is a different story. Podiatrist scheduled for the 28th.
They gave antibiotics and wrapped it up. We had to rewrap it because it didnt stay on lol. Nobody seems to know how to wrap this guy up except him lol. At least he has it down now.
The ER also suggested crutches. 🤣
So we feel more confident about that situation.
Next we turned off our water when we left. One thing we never do but was suggested to us by our maintenance buddy.
Well, bad idea. We tried everything we could to get it to work again. We also couldn't get a hold of him. Hoping he is on vacation and has his phone turned off. Prayers for James!!
So we will take on that challenge at a future date if anyone with well knowledge wants to throw out ideas. We just turned off the breaker, thinking we could just turn it back on. Tried the lever on the well box already.
Jess came down with a bad flu. Sweating, shivering for 48 hrs. Sore throat, ears sore, headache ick. Feeling better but headed to urgent care to make sure she's not contagious.
So we are just treading water right now.
Next up is orthopedic doc for Jess arm, hoping all is healed and we can move forward from that challenge.
If you've read this far we love you sew much!
We will get by we will survive 💞
