Happy National Ocean day🌅

I don’t know that I’d say I’m particularly inspired by going to the beach. Visiting the ocean is a different story.

I’ve been lucky enough to see the Atlantic from many locations. It does kinda blow my mind thinking it’s all the same body. Awe inspiring for sure 🌊

I spent the first part of the year focused on making art by participating in Art 75 and Drawn to Art with Genna Blackburn . Both programs helped with the habit of making art and start focusing on a style.

They also provided a great community that had lots of support and suggestions. Just Art paint markers were probably one of the best tips I got. I absolutely loved them! The paint flow is smooth and it’s easy to blend and layer colors. This was my attempt at narrowing down my color palette. Too many good colors! 10/10 stars ✨

Wow! It’s been a long long long long time since I’ve posted anything on this account. The past year and a half+ has been a lot. Some sadness but also a lot good.

Most of this year I’ve been focused on unfinished projects and figuring out where I’m going creatively. That’s still a work in progress. It may be a never ending journey of discovery. And that’s ok. I’m here for every step 👩‍🎨

A little late but there’s still more summer love to share 💜

This time to Columbia, SC. We barely stayed overnight but we felt so at home. Kinda artsy. Fairly walkable. Lots of southern charm.

The highlight really was staying at the Trundle Hotel. With a motto that should be everyone‘s mantra: Live Joyfully. Dream Fearlessly. How could you not love that?!!
Fun, creative space, lots of unique & quirky details, and the staff! So wonderfully welcoming. We look forward to stay longer next time 🦄

What better way to spend a rainy day than going to a new museum with old friends.

Over the summer I took a quick weekend trip to visit friends & fam in Pittsburgh. The majority of my visits there over the yrs took me to the same places. Most of this trip was places I hadn’t been to before. Including the Carnegie museum - filled with an broad & impressive collection. Nice be at my home away from home again and also see so much new 🖤💛
