Booksellers, today we celebrate and support Black-owned bookstores, the vital spaces where stories, culture, and community thrive.

National Black Bookstore Day (April 7), founded by the National Association of Black Bookstores, is a nationwide call to show up for these businesses that champion Black voices and keep literary legacies alive.

Today also honors Georgia “Mother Rose” West, founder of Underground Books and a central figure in Black literary culture.

Visit, shop, and share Black-owned bookstores today and every day. ❤️

Hey, friends! After a few weeks of traveling, it was a treat to wake up in my own bed. 🛌🏾 I started the morning with a very heartwarming mug of BTB Vol 1. 🫖Tangy with a natural sweetness, it was just what I needed to start my Saturday and soothe this lingering cough.
