Lake Murray Country The official tourism authority for things to do and see in the Capital City/Lake Murray Country region.

The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board (CCLMC) is a 501(c)(6) organization that promotes tourism and economic development in Lexington, Newberry, Richland, and Saluda Counties and all the region's municipalities. We are a member of the South Carolina Association of Tourism Regions (SCATR), which consists of 11 regional organizations responsible for promoting tourism throughout South Carolina. Our organization markets both regionally and nationally to lure visitors into the area to increase tourism revenue and economic impact.

Make plans to celebrate history, culture, and community at Jubilee Festival of Black History & Culture! 🎶✨

On September 19th at the historic Mann-Simons Site, this free festival brings together live music, local vendors, food, art, storytelling, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

It’s a great way to spend a Saturday in Columbia and experience a celebration that shines a spotlight on Black history and culture in South Carolina.

Capital City/Lake Murray Country has plenty to fill a couple of days with friends, from good food and local shopping to getting outside, finding something new to do, and ending the day somewhere with a good view.

📣 Calling all students! Starting college & want to explore your city? The Capital City Kickoff is a pretty good place to start.

From August 27–29, students from across the region are invited to get out and explore the city beyond campus, with events happening throughout The BullStreet District , Devine Street Columbia , Five Points , Main Street District and Vista Columbia, SC

There will be plenty of food, shopping, entertainment and local spots to discover, all leading up to a free concert at finlayparkcola to close out the weekend.

Whether you’re new to Columbia or just looking for a few new places to add to your list, there’s a lot to explore right here in Capital City/Lake Murray Country.
