First of all - I miss this community SO dang much! 💕 ❤️ I appreciate the messages from everyone and I feel so bad for taking this long to post about what I’ve been doing. I think it’s taken me a long time to realize that I’m officially taking a break from Columbia Candle Supply and I don’t know when or if I will be back.
I miss making wax melts so much, but I love my family, and my new son Dennis more than anything! Last year when I got pregnant I stopped making wax melts. The space I used to work in just wasn’t ventilated enough for me to continue pouring safely. After talking with my doctor, I made the decision to stop altogether while I was pregnant. It was the best decision to keep me and my son healthy as he grew. To say it was heartbreaking is an understatement. I cried more than a few times about the loss of my favorite hobby, and not to forget, the community I had thanks to Columbia Candle Supply.
Now fast forward to today, I have an almost 6 month old who has brought so much joy, energy and love into our home. I feel like I was meant to be his mom, and I love him more than anything. I thought at this time I would be ready to pick my hobby back up again, but I just can’t find the time. I work a full time job and only have a couple hours each night with my son, so I can’t imagine taking that precious time way from him to do something else, at least not yet. I know a little down the road things may change, but for now I’ll settle for just having my happy family. ❤️
I promise this isn’t goodbye forever! I’m hoping to still do some in person craft shows, so we will see what the future holds. And of course a huge THANK YOU to every single one of you amazing people who have supported me through the years! I appreciate you all more than you know! 💕
