Stuckmeyers Plants Produce We are fifth generation farmers who are raised with dedication and determination to bring farm fresh vegetables to your table.

Garry and Dianne were married in 1985 and moved to Waterloo, IL in 1987. They have two children, Katie (Allen) Vincent and Matt (Ashley) Stuckmeyer, and four grandchildren, Lola and Beau Vincent and Charlotte and Lennon Stuckmeyer. Both children are involved in the business operation. Garry is the fifth generation in the Stuckmeyer family to raise vegetables for a living. In 1997 they opened a retail store located between Waterloo and Columbia. Walter and Hermetta Stuckmeyer (Garry’s mom and dad), have worked alongside the family since the beginning. While Garry continues to sell at the St. Louis Produce Row, Dianne manages their retail shop. At the shop, the year starts off in April. Annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and planters are available along with a wide selection of bedding plants. With the exception of tropical plants, ALL of the plants at the shop have been raised at the farm location.

The play area will be OPEN this Saturday at 8 am. We passed our state inspection today, and finishing up the rest of today with the last details. As usual, adults and children two years old and under are free. Admission is $5. We’re looking forward to a safe and fun season this year. One last detail, parents tell your kids beforehand, absolutely no climbing on the side walls of inflatables. (Or rough housing)

I don’t blame you for not being ready for mums! But when you are, I hope you come by and check ours out. Our regular size mums are quite nice. Our MUMBO JUMBOS are things of beauty. (Let’s just say that they are on the larger side! And as soon as I start displaying them, I’ll post some pictures here. )
