What began in 1973 as a small climbing shop in St Louis, Alpine Shop now serves almost every type of outdoor enthusiast from backpackers, hikers, campers, paddlers, and cyclists, to snowboarders, skiers and adventure racers with five stores across three states in the Midwest and internationally on-line at www.alpineshop.com. September Adventure Giveback raised nearly $1,050 for local nonprofits. Now we're on to October!

$1,086 raised for the Ozark Trail Association, and we’re still counting!

Our September 24 AL-PINT NIGHT at Alpine Shop Kirkwood brought in $730 from 73 pint glasses, plus $356 in September Adventure Giveback raffle ticket sales benefiting the OTA.

Alpine Shop recently started carrying Arrowhead Patches at its Kirkwood store, including these four featuring Ozark Trail sections. Come on by for Thursday night's AL-PINT NIGHT in Kirkwood to support the Ozark Trail Association and start (or grow) your collection.

Arrowhead Patches is a St. Louis-based small business making hiking trail patches for hikers to collect as they complete some of their favorite trails. Each design is unique to a specific trail, featuring the trail's name alongside an illustration of something you might spot along the way.

The patches themselves are shaped like arrowheads pointing up or down, a nod to the founder's Native American heritage, and they interconnect to form a larger mosaic as your collection grows.
Arrowhead Patches can be ironed on, sewn on, or simply displayed. They're a great souvenir for your next adventure!

Tonight (September 10) is the first of two September AL-PINT NIGHTS, with Wildlife Rescue Center joining us at Alpine Shop Kirkwood from 6-8 pm. Stop in, purchase a $10 Alpine Shop pint glass, and we'll fill it with two free pours from 4 Hands Brewing Company. Limited NA and gluten-free options, plus sodas, will also be available.
