We just completed@a fun project for a nonprofit that wanted to make awards based on a bronze sculpture they commissioned. We had the sculpture 3D scanned then printed smaller versions and hand applied a bronze patina to the 3D prints. Elegant bases and plaques completed the project.

Art Display Essentials and 10-31 Inc. Are proud to be part of the new Billings Collection show at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. Our team of mount makers worked in our shop and on-site to create the custom display mounts used in the project.

Great first day at . Great to be in Boston and showing our museum products at the American Alliance of Museums conference.

On Friday I traveled to WestHampton NY to install a new Torah holder and lectern at a synagogue. Many aspects were important. First of all the Torah holder is designed to hold Gods Word. That’s pretty impressive. But when you look at all the colored glass floating over the Torah holder that is designed by the world famous glass artist Chihuly. This is the first house of worship that Chihuly has ever collaborated on. We also were privelidged to work with a master designer from Israel and a bronze casting firm from Philadelphia. All in all a momentous project.

• Assemble and build various mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. Involves the use of various equipment. Joining methods include arbor press fit, riveting, mounting hardware and epoxies.
• Handle and process steel pipe and aluminum extrusions up to 20 feet in length.
• Welding, deburring and other light fabrication duties.
• Be able to understand and follow product drawings.
• Work in a safe and effective manner.
• Set up and operate a variety of simple machines and tooling.
