A NOTE TO OUR FISHING COMMUNITY

The 2026 MR340 - the world's longest nonstop river paddling race - takes place July 28-31 on the Missouri River.

From Tuesday through Friday, hundreds of paddlers will make their way from Kaw Point in Kansas City to St. Charles, traveling day and night.

If you're planning to fish or spend time on the river during the race, you may notice more activity than usual. Boat ramps and accesses along the race course will be busier than normal, and you'll likely see paddlers throughout the week.

We simply ask that everyone use a little extra awareness while sharing the river.

• Please slow down near paddlers.
• Watch your wake. It makes a difference.
• Give paddlers plenty of room to maneuver.
• And if you get the chance, give them a friendly wave. They've got a long way to go!

The MR340 is made possible through the cooperation of racers, volunteers, river communities, and everyone who shares the Missouri River. Thank you for helping make this year's race a safe and memorable one.
